About 8 weeks ago our ‘regular’ lives in the physical world were suddenly put ‘on hold’.

I have found this to be an interesting time as it is a manifestation of the principle that nothing is to be taken for granted. A time for looking inwards and realising a deeper understanding of what is fundamentally important to humanity and being human.

This song by the Flemish band Yevgeni (featuring the lead singer in the clip) was re-recorded by the school staff of the Academy Grimbergen and the title translates into “(Here) where you are not”.

A phrase which perfectly describes the feeling of being confined.

To put it into Joni Mitchell’s words from a few moons ago:

“Don’t it always seem to go that you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone”

I hope we will emerge with more awareness towards and respect for this world we co-inhabit.
